My average file size for book II was 50MB. Book III? 150MB. Urgh. My poor little thumb drive is not going to be able to hold all of these files. :/
And can I just say, I know my vacation between books was very short, but it is very strange drawing Holly and crew again. I had to pull out the character sheets. I feel a bit like I'm starting from scratch. Hrmmmph.

Shiny!
As to the well-deserved time off, as long as you don't forget Lucky's scruff, it's all good. :)
Very nice Roger-Dean-ish waterfall there. A visually stunning page that puts me in mind of Hiroshige/Yoshida woodblock prints.
Thanks!
Lucky now has an entire layer in my template devoted to his scruff, so hopefully I will not forget again. :P
And you know, someone on dA also mentioned Hiroshige (and Mucha). So yay for this page echoing the works of artists a million times better than me. :)
Are you selling this comic anywhere? Just wondering, if you're not it's fine, but it would be cool to be able to go down to the comic shop and see it there! XD
by the way, i'm still astonished at how you're bakgrounds look! *whistles* freaking amazing!
There is info on purchasing Book I on http://thelockedmaze.com/ and Book II is about to go up for sale. Book III will be available in the same manner (IndyPlanet) when it is done, and I will probably print a 3-volume combo book at that point as well. :)
I realise I'm leaving you a bunch of fairly raving-mad-sounding comments, but this waterfall is (to my mind) your most beautiful page yet. I love the nuances of colour and texture you've captured here.
Thanks! If it weren't for the fact that I've been blocked from this site all week and have been forced to browse via my phone, I'd be responding more... :P
Poor Holly. She looks exactly the way I do in the mornings
Haha. Do you have dreams of drowning? That might explain it... :P
Beautiful! Reminds me of a stained-glass window.
