Are all the guys in Utah gossipy little judgemental shrews? :P The things they said as though I weren't standing right there. The things they said TO ME!!!
okay, they are pretty rotten, but thinking back, i think sometimes the older ladies are the worst. the ones who lean over your pod wall and ask when you're planning on having kids because "you're getting older, dear..."
I love how you say "older ladies." Like, 28. Because at 21 in Utah women are already "old maids" and at 28 they know EVERYTHING. :P Most of the women I worked with were actually okay, the baby conversation came up only once a week and I just ignored it. The rest of the time they were normal and interesting and non-Mormon. :)
It is rather upsetting to like this story and then dislike everytime you bring up those mormon guys. Some people find this surprising, but mormons are just like everyone else. Not all of them throw their religion at everything, and above all, they support families being together. It doesn't really matter who is active and who isn't, they think kids should have time with their parents. And Mormons also don't use the term "Godless," mainly because there is no clearly defined Hell in Latter Day Saint scriptures. You may be using a very extreme stereotype, but it's just insulting. This is probably an old page, and you may not even see this, but i wanted you to know it's kind of offensive.
As someone who lived in Utah for almost three decades and was Mormon for most of that time, I can tell you with absolute assurity that you are wrong. Just as I do not speak for all Mormons, neither do you.
I worked with those guys! and it made my fists itch listening to their rants about women who worked rather than popping out kids like a pez dispenser.

I really dislike those guys.
I hope we don't all come across like those guys - they're really annoying. xD
Also, the perspective in the second panel is awesome.
you know... most mormons aren't as crazy as you make them out to be...
